Robert Harvey

Robert Harvey, age 72, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019. He was born on May 10, 1947 to the late Revie and Faye Harvey. Mr. Harvey worked for Georgia Power as a Transmission Operator for over 40 years and was a United States Navy veteran. Robert attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sons; Robert and Tara Harvey of Powder Springs, GA, Joe and Valerie Harvey of Birmingham, AL, grandchildren; Jordan (Daniel) Dickson of Villa Rica, GA, Tanner Harvey (Dale Donachie) of Powder Springs, GA, Emma Harvey of Birmingham, AL, Abby Harvey of Birmingham, AL, three great grandchildren; Brody Dickson of Villa Rica, GA, Jace Dickson of Villa Rica, GA, Kennedy Dickson of Villa Rica, GA, plus one on the way, as well as an aunt, Sharron Wilson of Calhoun, GA.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Harvey will be held on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Wayne Meadows officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
