Adah Rose Thursten

Adah Rose Thursten, age 81, of Dallas, GA (formerly of College Park, GA) passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at WellStar Paulding Nursing Center following a 7 year battle with Alzheimer’s.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Rube Louis Thursten, Sr. and Letha Velma Thursten.

Rose graduated from Murray State in Kentucky, loved to travel, played the piano and enjoyed a stellar career as a legal secretary for PPG, Boeing, Hansell Post Brandon & Dorsey, ultimately retiring from Delta Air Lines.

According to her wishes she was cremated, and no services are currently planned.  Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America 322 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.

Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of the arrangements.
