Adam Douglas Marlow, age 79, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2007. He was born on September 4, 1928, in Whitesburg, KY, to the late Ike & Haley Marlow. Mr. Marlow was a carpenter and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cartersville.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Christine Marlow of Dallas; sons & daughters-in-law, Danny Marlow & wife Dianne of Marietta and Dwayne Marlow & wife Kasey of Collinsville, AL; daughters & sons-in-law, Anna Dean Owens & husband John of Douglasville, Roberta Whitaker & husband Paul of Acworth, Lydia Camp & husband Tim of Dallas, Sonya Atcheson & husband Robyn of Dallas, and Elaine Sumner of Dallas; brothers & sisters-in-law, Audie Marlow & wife Rozilla of Marietta, Dennis Marlow & wife Margaret of Carrollton, Nathan Marlow, and James Marlow & wife Linda of Collegedale, TN; sisters & brother-in-law, Jurlean Prejean of Lansing, TN and Evadean Hembree & husband Sayer of Kansas City, MO; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2007, at 2:00pm, from Clark Funeral Home, with Mr. Dwayne Marlow and Mr. James Marlow officiating. Interment will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
