Agnes Cowan

Agnes Cowan, age 85, of Buchanan, GA, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017. She was born on December 11, 1931 to the late John and Dovie Fishback. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, William Fain Fishback and John Francis Fishback. Mrs. Cowan worked at Lockheed Martin for almost 43 years.
Survivors include her son, Ken Sherman of Buchanan, GA; daughters, Lisa Mathews of Shannon, GA, and Kay Nicholas of Canton, GA; Sister, Sara Hardegree of Acworth, GA.; four grandchildren; Kenny Sherman, Jr., Adam Mathews, Cory Mathews, and Ryan Mathews; and a number of other relatives are survived by her.
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 1:30 PM at The Georgia National Cemetery, with Don Rackley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM.
