Al Boatwright

Al Boatwright, age 72, of Dallas, GA passed away on January 13, 2020 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. He was born on June 6, 1947 in Rome, GA to his late parents, Joseph F. and Myrtle Hyde Boatwright. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Boatwright. Mr. Boatwright was self-employed in Electronics for over 12 years. He was an honorably discharged Veteran of the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 43 years, Rhonda Boatwright; his sons, Chris Boatwright of Dallas, Zachary Boatwright of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Carmen and Steve Helms of Chatsworth, GA.; three sisters, Tammy and Ricky Kilgore of Armuchee, GA, Sandra Buffington of Rome, GA, Terri Lynn Morgan, Rome, GA,; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Helms and Murphy Helms; many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Mr. Boatwright at the family residence on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 3:00 PM .
