Amalia Dell’Aira, age 95, of Dallas, GA passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2012. She was born on April 6, 1917 in Yonkers, New York to the late Anthony and Teresa Bertoldi. Mrs. Dell’Aira was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, GA and was preceded in death by her husband, Ignazio Dell’Aira.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa Dell’Aira-Shively and her husband, Mark Shively of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Daniel Charles Shively and Elizabeth Ann Shively; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, GA with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. The interment will be held later in the week in Mount Olivet Cemetery South in Middletown, New Jersey. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 680 West Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA 30132.
