Amy Lee Glass-Green, age 61, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015. She was born on February 26, 1954, in Dallas, GA, to the late Rufus & Odessia Glass, and was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Glass, brothers, ray Glass and Robert Glass, sister, Frances Estes and Corine Flemister. She was a United States Army Veteran and worked as a registered nurse for Douglas Hospital and Garden Terrace Nursing Home. Ms. Glass-Green was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include, brothers, William Glass of Dallas, GA, John & Ida Glass of Powder Springs, GA, and Larry Glass of Douglasville, GA; sisters, Evelyn Hightower of Hiram, GA, Bertha Dodd of Douglasville, GA, and Linda Glass of Dallas, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015, at 3 PM, from Mars Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 2 PM until 3 PM at Mars Hill Baptist Church on Friday, August 21, 2015.
