Amy "Mimi" Sanford passed away on July 7, 2024. She was born on December 2, 1971, in Marietta, Georgia to Bobby Harrison and Sandra Becksted.
Amy was known for being everyone's caretaker. She took care of anyone in her circle and even those outside of it with ease and a heart full of love. She had the biggest heart and it always led her to be the one to give up anything, even if it meant the shirt off her back. Amy's kindness and sense of love made her have a heart of gold and she never spoke badly about anyone. She offered everyone grace and a chance and made sure to spread her light wherever she went.
Amy's greatest love was her family. She loved spending time with them at the beach or while going fishing. Her favorite things to do were going shopping, drinking iced coffee, and talking on the phone. Amy deeply loved her furbabies, Jack and Libby, as well as her chickens that her family was raising.
Amy was an incredible daughter, wife, mother, Mimi, aunt, and friend and she will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
Amy is preceded in death by her father, Bobby Harrison, and her daughter, Hayley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Tommy Sanford; their daughter and son-in-law, Katie (Andrew) Campbell; granddaughter, Hadley Mae Campbell; her mother and stepfather, Sandra and Tom Becksted; grandfather, Earl Grizzle; brother and sister-in-law, Jody (Daisy) Harrison; sister and brother-in-law, Missy (Michael) Keeney; nieces, Kaylee Harrison, Carissa Byrd; nephews, Cody Harrison, Trenton Harrison; and several extended family members who cherished Amy.
