Andrew Graham House, age 85, of Hiram, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2007. A native of Paulding County, he was born October 5, 1922, and was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Grady House & Mabel Graham House, and sons, Henry Grady House and Charles Andrew House. He was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army and a Pearl Harbor survivor. Mr. House was a member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Jane House of Hiram; sons & daughters-in-law, Sammy Power & wife Karen of Hiram, Daryl Power of Hiram, Ronnie Power & wife Carlann of Dallas, and James House & wife Lynn of Hiram; daughters & sons-in-law, Colleen Brown & husband Wayne of Hiram, Kay Griffin of Dallas, Andrea Brooks of Hiram, and Annette Grauch & husband Ted of Atlanta; brother & sister-in-law, Ralph House & wife Maria of East Greenwich, RI; sister, Louise Cohran of Hiram; fifteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2007, at 3:00 p.m., from Flint Hill United Methodist Church, with Pastor Ray Vaughn officiating and interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
