Andy Thompson

Andy Thompson, age 27, of Dallas, GA, passed away on August 5, 2018. He was born on January 25, 1991, in Atlanta, GA. Andy worked as a welder and was a 2009 East Paulding High School graduate. Andy had so much to give the world. He was an extremely talented individual who loved expressing his creativity to the world through his art, music, and humor. His charm and dedication were profound to say the least. Anyone who spent any time with him will miss that dearly about him. His main love in life was undoubtedly his two beautiful children. He dedicated his life to them on a special level. His two wonderful children brought him unlimited and unmatched happiness in his life. He was a wonderful son, brother, and father. And will be missed beyond words. Andy loved so much. If he had friends or family in need, he was always the first one there. Regardless of any inconvenience it may have brought him. He walked through life with abundant generosity. And that facet of his life will certainly be remembered and missed greatly. Andy loved sports as well. From little league baseball and football all the way through high school, his competitive spirit was something that truly set him apart. Andy was a diamond in the rough and the impact he has had on the lives of so many people is impossible to put into words.

Survivors include son, Elijah Cole Thompson of Dallas, GA; daughter, Addilyn Rae Thompson of Dallas, GA; parents, Kevin & Brenda Thompson of Dallas, GA; brother, Matthew & Jessica Thompson of Temple, GA; sisters, Lindsey Thompson of Rockmart, GA, and Sarah & Joshua Keller of Dallas, GA; maternal grandmother, Barbara Kostielney of Nebraska; mother of his children, Kimberly Thompson; nieces and nephews, Gracee Dean, Anslee Atkins and Mikey Keller.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Jamey Alexander officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Park. Zack Gonosz, Chris Furby, Joshua Logan, Steven Nix, Chase Newman and Bradley Gloyd will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 9, 2018, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
