In Loving Memory of Anita R. Killpatrick

 

Anita R. Kilpatrick, born on April 23, 1940, in Atlanta, Georgia, peacefully passed away on October 28, 2023, at her residence in Marietta, Georgia. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

 

Anita was a remarkable woman who brought joy into the lives of everyone she encountered. Her infectious laughter and vibrant spirit were a constant source of light for her family and friends. She was known for her quick wit and enjoyed engaging in lively conversations that left everyone around her smiling.

 

Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Fannie Lee and William Clarence Pruiett Sr. and her two brothers Bennie Pruiett, J.P. Pruiett and a sister, Marie Wimbish.

 

Born as the oldest of ten children, Anita held a special place in the hearts of her siblings. Her nurturing nature and unwavering support made her the rock upon which her family could always rely. She shared a unique bond with each of her sisters, including Charlotte Baxter, Carol Beard, Barbara McKenzie, Bonnie Bribiesca, and Linda Gail Faulkner, as well as her brother, W.C. Pruiett Jr, and her many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Anita's presence enriched their lives, and she will be deeply missed by her surviving family members.

 

Anita had an accounting degree. After working for many years as an accountant, Anita started her own caregiving business.

 

Anita cherished her time spent near the water, frequently traveling the intercoastal waterways. Anita found solace and happiness in the serenity of nature. She possessed a beautiful voice and a natural talent for dancing, which brought joy to those around her.

 

Anita was a woman of faith who found solace in her relationship with Jesus. Her spirituality brought her peace and comfort, even during the most challenging moments of her life. Her unwavering belief in a greater purpose served as an inspiration to those around her.

 

In memory of Anita R. Killpatrick, a funeral service will be held at Clark Funeral Home on November 2, 2023, at 2:00 pm. Prior to the service, friends and loved ones are invited to attend the visitation at 11:00 am, also at Clark Funeral Home.

 

Following the services, Anita will be laid to rest at Mozley Memorial Gardens, 3180 S Sweetwater Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122 on November 2, 2023. She will find eternal peace in her final resting place.

 

Anita's zest for life, her laughter, and her compassionate spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. In these times of sorrow, may we find solace in the memories we shared with her, and may her legacy serve as a guiding light in our lives.

 

Rest in peace, dear Anita. You will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
