Barbara June (Shelton) Elsberry

Barbara June Elsberry entered her heavenly place of rest on Sunday, January 23, 2022. She was born on July 8, 1934 to the late James and Rosie Shelton. Barbara was a wonderful woman who loved the Lord and her family. She was a very hard worker and was always helping anyone she could. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband; Marvin Gene Elsberry, and her sister; Frankie Waddell. She is survived by her son; Gene Elsberry, her daughter; Alisa Clark, her brothers; Jimmy Shelton, Jerry (Lynn) Shelton, and Larry (Brooxie) Shelton, her sister; Iris Cole, her grandchildren; Wesley (Patches) Dees and Jeremy Dees; her great-grandchildren; Kayla Dees, Natalie Dees, and Nova Lee Conroy, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, 4373 Atlanta Highway Hiram, GA 30141, on Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral services for Barbara Elsberry will be held on January 28, 2022 at 11am with Pastor Wayne Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens, 3566 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway Hiram, GA 30141.
