Barbara Eubanks

Barbara L. Eubanks passed away on April 26, 2024. She was born on January 13, 1939, to the late James Herbert Wright and Mamie Stapler of Opelika, Alabama.

Barbara was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She loved going on vacations, especially going on cruises or being at the casinos, and she made sure each trip was a memorable one. When at home, she cherished her time spent with her family at the lake and after a long day, she sure did enjoy going out to eat for fellowship. She was extremely loved by her family and was always there for each of them. She will be remembered and deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, James Herbert Wright and Mamie Stapler, Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Richard A. Eubanks; their daughter, Denise Clayton; and her brother, James Wright.

She is survived by her son, Richard Eubanks; daughter, Arlene (Johnny) Clayton; sister, Marilyn (Daniel) Gilbert; brothers, Eugene Wright and Keith Stapler; five grandchildren; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home and Chapel on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Barbara will be on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Clark Funeral Home and Chapel beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Brandon Bivins officiating.

Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens with Bryan Clayton, Chad Clayton, Shane Clayton, David Reese, Daniel Gilbert, Mitchell Caldwell, Starr Gilbert, and Curtis Clayton serving as pallbearers.
