Barbara Hollis

Barbara Joe Hollis, a beloved wife, devoted mother, and cherished friend, passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 71. She was born on January 16, 1952, in Austell, Georgia, and resided in Lithia Springs, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Dixie Woody, and a son, Dennis Hurley. In addition to her husband, Ronnie Hollis, she is survived by a daughter, Barbara Renae Hurley; sister, Margaret Woody Traylor; brother Jr. Woody; seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Barbara's life was marked by hard work, dedication, and love for her family. She excelled as a machine operator in the manufacturing industry, serving loyally at Constar Plastics.

Barbara will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Ronnie Hollis. Together, they shared a bond that stood the test of time. Her passing leaves behind a profound void in Ronnie's heart, as he cherishes the memories they created during their years together.

Funeral services to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at Clark Funeral Home on January 10, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Prior to the service, a visitation will be held on January 9, 2024, at 5:00 pm.

Following the ceremony, Barbara will be laid to rest in Dallas, Georgia, at 3:00 pm on January 10, 2024.

Barbara Joe Hollis will forever be remembered as a kind-hearted woman with an unwavering spirit. Her legacy of love, dedication, and resilience will continue to live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
