Barbara Ann LaBoy passed away on June 22, 2023. She was born on February 9, 1950 to the late John Lloyd Cross and Minnie Louise Cross. Barbara was a devoted wife to her late husband, Carmelo "Cowboy" LaBoy and deeply loved her husband. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loving on her grand, great-grand, and great-great-grand babies. She was an incredible animal lover who cherished her sweet furbaby, Boomer. One of Barbara's favorite things to do was watching her wrestling shows. She'd get off the phone in a hurry every time one was about to start. Barbara Ann was incredible in all that she did and she will be dearly missed and forever loved.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 32 years, Carmelo "Cowboy" LaBoy; her sister, Janice Faye Cross; and brother, James Lloyd Cross Jr. Barbara Ann is survived by her children, Teresa Tucker, Derby (Michelle) Fisher, and Maleda Kimbrough; sisters, Shirley Dimple Martin Cross and Rosemary Cross, eight grandchildren, Nicole Tucker, Thomas Tucker, Cheyenne Tucker, Brittany Ann Kimbrough, Ashley Marie Kimbrough, Nicholas Campbell, Savannah Fisher, Kevin Fisher; sixteen great-grandchildren, Laken Powell, Mackenzie Helms, Brianna Tucker, Theodore Kimbrough, Felix Kimbrough, Victor Kimbrough, Jonah Dawson Campbell, Odelia Jane Campbell, Sadie O'Dell, Sophie Herrity, Aaliayah Tucker, Cameran David, Cayden James, Camilla Kingsberry, Megan Hicks, Morgan Hicks; three great-grandchildren, Houston Helms, Lillian Powell, Lilah Powell; and several nieces and nephews.
