Berta Cozene Lewis

Berta Cozene Lewis, age 91, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Wellstar Paulding Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 10, 1928 in Cullman, AL, to her late parents; Loran and Nora Adamson. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and attended Bible Way Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy James Lewis Jr. and her brother, Ermer Oree Canant.

Survivors include her loving children; Deborah Kay Lewis Adams of Hiram, GA, James and Donna Lewis of Orange Park, FL, Betty Devall of Hiram, GA, Roy and Leanne Lewis of Covington, GA, 8 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Lewis will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM from The Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Cape and Jeremy VanPelt officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the following gentleman serving as pallbearers; Christopher VanPelt, Jeremy VanPelt, Timothy Adams, Michael Adams, Charlie Adams, and Jack VanPelt. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM.
