Bertha Nell Bankston

Bertha Nell Bankston, 88, of Dallas Georgia went to be home with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ on April 24, 2019.  She was born in New Market, Alabama on May 14, 1930 to the late William and Georgia Hillis Holder.  Bertha loved her family and tending to her flowers in the garden.  She sang in the Harvest Trio and the Tri Cities Quartet for many years.  She loved her church and attended every chance she could.  She was proceeded in death by her parents, son, Ricky Bankston, her 3 brothers,1 sister and former husband, James Herbert Bankston.

Survivors include her 3 sons; Danny Bankston of Dallas, GA, Rocky (Diane) Bankston of Dallas, GA, Rev. Kent (Tammy) Bankston of Buchanan, GA, several grandchildren and great – grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Ms. Bertha Nell Bankston will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kent Bankston officiating. Interment will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM from Melrose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the service begins at 1:00 PM.
