Betty June Cowart. Age 85, of Austell, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. She was born on June 06, 1932 in Lagrange, GA. to the late Dewey and Elizabeth Pollard French and was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. Ms. Cowart worked as an accounting clerk for twelve years and was a member of Mableton First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Lucy (Ron) Hudson of Austell, GA; son, Mark Anthony Cowart of Powder Springs, GA; sister, Dianne Sledge of Loganville, GA.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA. with Pastor Cindy Conner officiating. Interment will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, GA at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to American Heart Association.
