Betty Evelyn Cummings Adams

Betty Evelyn Cummings Adams, 67, of Hiram, GA passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021.  She was born on July 18, 1954, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Raymond and Mary Cummings. Betty was a very special person, who will be remembered as a sweet, caring person, that everyone loved and affectionately called mom, even those she didn’t raise, but cared for regardless. She was never idle, always doing something, whether it be cooking, reading, gardening, studying the bible, spending time outdoors, bird watching, or cleaning. She also had a special place in her heart for animals. However, her favorite thing, was spending time her with her family, and most of all her grandchildren.  She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be missed by anyone who had the opportunity to know her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Cummings and grandson, Levi Adams.

Betty is survived by her sons, Tony (Heather) Adams, Danid Adams, Shane Adams; daughter, Amanda Adams; brother, Danny Cummings; sister, Donna Dimpfl; grandchildren, Tony Adams Jr, Katie Jackson, Devon Adams, Tyler Adams, Jacob Ferguson, Kaleb Ferguson, Megan Ferguson; great grandchildren, Landon Adams, A C Jackson, Delilah Adams, Saylor Adams, Josie Adams and host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 1:00 PM in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Thomas Blagg officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, December 1, 2021 from 11:00 AM 1:00 PM.
