Betty Davis

Betty J. McClure Davis, age 82, of Dallas, GA passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013. She was born April 13, 1931 in Marietta, GA., and preceded in death by her parents John Clifford and Laura Bell Fielding McClure and husband, Ernest Davis on January 9, 2012. Mrs. Davis was retired and was previously employed as an accountant at Tool Distributors of Georgia. She was a faithful member of New Canaan Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Davis, of Dallas, GA and sons, Mike and Lynn Davis of Dallas, GA and Sean and Lorie Davis of Burns,TN., sisters, Lou McCrary, Ruth (Ned) Cooper and Millie (Chris) Butler of Dallas, GA., Dolly Catha of Mobile, AL and Pearl Cole of Douglasville, GA. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Loudermilk officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park, Marietta, GA. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
