Betty Smoke

Betty Smoke, age 91, of Lookout Mountain, GA, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014. She was born on November 29, 1922, in Atlanta, GA, to the late Winton and Helen Fowler, and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Newton Smoke. Mrs. Smoke was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church.

Survivors include son, Thomas Newton Smoke, JR of Woodstock, GA; daughters, Jeanne Hamrick of Lookout Mountain, GA, and Judy Beasley of Douglasville, GA; four grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at 2 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 19, 2014, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
