Betty Jo (Cole) Mayfield

April 4, 1929 — October 27, 2022

Betty Jo Mayfield passed away on October 27, 2022. She was born on April 4, 1929 to the late Tom Allen and Gladys Cole. Betty Jo was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church. In her younger days, Betty Jo enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family at the lake. She loved fishing and being outside tending to her flower garden. Betty Jo will be deeply missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Allen Wilson Mayfield and her brother, Jerry Allen Cole. Betty Jo is survived by her daughters, Debbie Fields and Donna Pace; her siblings, Grady Jack Cole, Fonda (Lewis) Joy Beavers; grandchildren, Brandi (Jason) Warlick, Jaime (Valerie) Pace, Donny (Jamie) Pace, Nicholas (Shanna) Fields, Amy (Johnathan) Culpepper, Adam (Shay) Beavers; great-grandchildren, Finn Warlick, Maggie Warlick, Jonah Pace, Malechi Pace, Elizabeth Ann Pace, Emily Rose Pace, Alyssa Kate Pace, Kennedy Fields, Davis Culpepper, Bryson Beavers, and Hudson Beavers.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 11:30am-12:30pm. A memorial service for Mrs. Mayfield will begin at 12:30pm with Pastor Scott Thomas officiating.
