Beverly Jean (Womack) Hembree

Beverly Womack Hembree, 86, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on March 10, 2023. She was born. May 17, 1936, to the late M.G. and Grace Womack. Beverly graduated with honors from Dallas High School in 1954, where she was Class President and a cheerleader. She married her high school. Sweetheart, J.B. Hembree, later that year. They moved to Illinois while he served in the United States Army and later returned to Dallas to build their life together. Beverly had a long career. as a Department Clerk Steno at Lockheed Martin. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always providing love and tireless support to her family. Beverly was a wonderful cook and baker and took great joy and pride in keeping an immaculate home. In her spare time, Beverly loved to read, discuss politics, watch football, and dine out. Beverly was also a member of West Metro Church of God.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, M.G. and Grace Womack, and husband, J.B. Hembree. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Michael) Hembree Sandusky, and three grandchildren, Kristen (Christian) Settlemire Fuller, Caleb Sandusky, and Kimberly Sandusky. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Paulding Memorial Gardens at 2:00 pm.
