Bill Bohannon

Bill Bohannon, age 71, of Dallas, GA, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2013. He was born in Cartersville, GA, on May 9, 1942, and was preceded in death by his father, Virgil William Bohannon, Sr.; mother, Mildred Wiley Bohannon; brother, Jimmy Bohannon; and sister, Diane Bohannon-Trammell. Mr. Bohannon retired as the manager of Mannington Carpet in Calhoun, GA. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and all of his family and his church, Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Shelbia Lewis Bohannon; children, Scott & Melissa Bohannon of Dallas, GA, Jami & Seth Holcomb of Dallas, GA and Rhonda Wilkerson of Hiram, GA; brother, Keith Bohannon of Cartersville, GA; sister, Geneva Luckhurst of Calhoun, GA; mother-in-law, Ollie Mae Lewis of Dallas, GA; special sister-in-law, Ruby Bohannon of Cartersville, GA; special sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Travis & Lisa Warren and Don & Debbie Lewis; special grandchildren, Blake Ratcliff, Chris Baxter, David Bohannon (Misty), Kaylee Bohannon, Cameron Martin Love (Derek),
Cody Bohannon, Jacob Holcomb, and Olivia Grace Holcomb; special great-grandchildren, Braelyn Jones, Leland Bohannon, Noah Baxter, Gatlin Bohannon, Maddox Love and Landon Bohannon; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 3:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Brother Travis Warren and Mr. Jesse Warren officiating and music by, Travis & Lisa Warren and Greg Brown. Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, with Cody Bohannon, Chris Baxter, Blake Ratcliff, David Bohannon, Derek Love, Chris Lewis and Jason Lewis serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, from 11:00 AM until the service time.
