Bill DeWitt

Bill DeWitt, age 79, of Acworth, GA (Paulding County), passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011. He was born in Ravenna, MI, on April 12, 1932, the son of Helen DeWitt and the late, William Andrew DeWitt. Mr. DeWitt was a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a mechanical engineer for APV and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Luz Maria DeWitt; children, Wilson & Luz Cristina DeWitt of Acworth, GA and Claudia & Joe Desrosiers of Dallas, GA; mother, Helen DeWitt of Coopersville, MI; sister, Sandra & Jerry Eisen of Coopersville, MI; and grandchildren, Alana Maria Desrosiers and Judah Joseph Derosiers.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 26, 2011, at 9:30 AM, from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. Interment will follow, Friday, August 26, 2011, at 12:30 PM, from the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
