Bill Driskell

Bill Driskell, age 86, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020. He was born on October 2, 1933 in Birmingham, AL, to his late parents; Harvey and Ruby Driskell. Mr. Driskell attended West Fulton High School and was apart of the 1951 graduating class. Bill had worked as a postal clerk for the United States Government for over 33 years and was a faithful member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jo Ellen Driskell.

Mr. Driskell is survived by his loving children; Bill Driskell of Dallas, GA, Susan Harmon and her husband, Ralph of Hiram, GA, grandchildren; Doug (Wendy) Harmon of Dallas, GA, Cliff (Alisha) Harmon of Canton, GA, Cody Driskell of Dallas, GA, Austin Driskell of Dallas, GA, great grandchildren; Logan Harmon, Macy Harmon, Grant Harmon, Ella Grace Harmon, Ashlynn Driskell, Madelyn Harmon, Easton Driskell and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Bill Driskell will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2020 at Clark Funeral Home at 4:00 PM with Mr. Rodney Waters officiating.  Interment will follow the service at Paulding Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the following gentleman serving as pallbearers; Cliff Harmon, Doug Harmon, Cody Driskell, Logan Harmon, William Miller and Austin Driskell. Honorary Pallbearer; Felton Argo. The family will receive friends at the funeral on Tuesday July 7, 2020 from 2:00 PM until the service begins at 4:00 PM. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service or visitation in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions. (No more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time) If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading any possible illnesses and to help keep our visitors, friends and the family members of Mr. Driskell safe.
