Bill Slate

Bill Slate, age 77, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012. He was born October 31, 1934, in Piedmont, AL, to the late James and Rosa Slate.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Joe & Tammy Slate of Powder Springs, GA; daughters, Regina McGarvey of Dallas, GA and Rebecca Slate of Woodstock, GA; brother, Jerry Slate of Dallas, GA; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for Mr. Slate on Wednesday, May 6, 2012, at 2:00 PM, from Hope Church, with Reverend Frank Bernat officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until the service time.
Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is in charge of arrangements.
