Billie Edward Owen

Billie Edward Owen, 89, passed away on November 30, 2021. He was born on January 26, 1932 to the late Emmett and Evelyn Owen. Billie was a United States Army Veteran who served 21 years as a field medic and earned two Purple Hearts and three Bronze Stars. He was an amazing soldier but an even better father and grandfather.

Billie is preceded in death by his loving wife of 51 years, Geraldine Owens, his parents, his sons; Steven L. Owen and William Thomas Owen, and his brother; Steven (Caroline) Owen.

Billie is survived by his son; Eric Jerome Owen, his daughters; Pamela (Wes) Brown and Lisa (George) Harvey, brother; Charles (Virginia) Owen, sisters; Doris Layton, Joyce Robbins, and Linda (Tony) Martin, 11 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

A graveside service for Mr. Owen will be held at Paulding Memorial Gardens on Friday, December, 3, 2021 at 11a.m. with Pastor Darin Cochran officiating.
