Billy Greene

Billy Greene, age 71, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010. He was born in Douglas County, April 16, 1938. Mr. Greene’s daughter, Joyce Greene, preceded him in death. He was the owner/operator of Bill Greene Construction and was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Barbara Gantt Greene; sons & daughter-in-law, Kenny & Sherry Greene of Powder Springs, GA, Rodney Greene of Dallas, GA, and Shane Greene of Dallas, GA; brother & sister-in-law, James & Kathy Greene of Hiram, GA; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Thursday, April 8, 2010, at 4:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Mrs. Loyce McKnight officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday from 3:00 PM until the service time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38015.
