Billy Morris

Billy Wayne Morris, age 72, of Dallas, GA, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012. He was born June 28, 1940, in Dallas, GA, to the late, William Robert Morris and the late, Bertha Fergerson Morris. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by his brothers, Bruce, J. B., Dean and Dee, and sisters, Audy, Vera, Betty Joe, Mildred, Ruby, Yvonne, and Judy. He retired from Aikens Construction, after 40 years of service, and was a member of Awtrey Bapitst Church in Acworth, the Bartlett Masonic Lodge #139 in Hiram and the Motorcycle Chapter B2 out of Douglasville.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Shirley Hale Morris; daughter & son-in-law, Lynn & Eric Nethery of Acworth; sister, Myrtle Noah of Atlanta; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 8, 2012, at 2:00 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Ryan Hale officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Thursday from 12:00 PM until the service time.
