Bobbie Jean Harp, 88, of Powder Springs, GA passed away on April 9, 2022. She was born on April 20, 1933, in Villa Rica, GA, to her late parents, Clarence and Mary Ellen Turner. Bobbie was a faithful member of her beloved, Faith United Methodist Church. Bobbie Jean loved her family and spending time with them. One of her favorite things to do was to cook, she enjoyed being in the kitchen. In her professional life, she worked for Celotex Corp as an Administrative Assistant prior to retiring. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, and mentor who will be greatly missed by many.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by loving husband, John Wesley Harp Jr, stepson, Randy Harp, and granddaughter, Pearce Cheyenne.
Bobbie Jean is survived by her sons; Jim Harp, Barry Harp, Walt (Allie) Harp, brother; Robert Wayne (Mary) Turner, sister; Shirley Ann (Barry) Adam, eight grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 11:00AM at Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Dallas, GA with family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 11, 2022, from 5:00PM-8:00PM.
