Bobby Ballentine

Bobby Ballentine, age 52, of Hiram, GA, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011. He was born in Atlanta, GA, June 9, 1958, to Robert D. Ballentine, Sr. and the late, Virgie Gorham Ballentine. Mr. Ballentine was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. W. C. Ballentine and Mr. & Mrs. Homer Gorham. He was a 1976 graduate of Paulding County High School and Woodward Academy. Mr. Ballentine worked as a mechanic all his life and worked for Home Depot in Pro Sales.
Survivors include his wife, Julie Huff Ballentine; father, Robert D. Ballentine, Sr. of Hiram, GA; sons & daughter-in-law, David Ballentine of Cartersville, GA, Stephen Ballentine of Rockmart, GA and Trey & Jessica Ballentine of Rockmart, GA; daughters & son-in-law, Stephanie & Jason Camp of Hiram, GA and Kelley Skinner & fiance’, J. J. Hopkins of Dallas, GA; brothers-in-law, Kenneth & Leslie Huff of Powder Springs, GA, Steve & Debby Huff of Marietta, GA, David & Karen Huff of Dallas, GA and John & Rosila Huff of Dallas, GA; grandchildren, Daniel Camp, Gracie Camp and Logan Ballentine; uncle, Norman & Debbie Ballentine of Hiawassee, GA; aunt, Connie Corn of Oxford, GA; mother-in-law, Launa Huff Rainwater & husband, Harold of Dallas, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be Friday, May 13, 2011, at 11:00 AM, from Paulding Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Gary Huff officiating. Kenneth Huff, Steve Huff, David Huff, John Huff, Brent Huff and Kyle Huff will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Clark Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
