Bobby Terry Johnson, age 70, of Dallas, GA, passed away Friday, January 10, 2013. He was born June 21, 1942, in Rome, GA and was preceded in death by his father & mother, Copeland T. & Anna Bell Johnson and grandson, Caleb Maston Tibbitts. Mr. Johnson was a member of Narroway Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Mandy & Joey Tibbitts of Dallas, GA, Terry Johnson of Dallas, GA, Danielle Johnson of Middletown, NJ, and Nick Johnson of Middletown, NJ; brothers & sisters-in-law, Darrell & Brenda Johnson of Norcross, GA and Ozzie & Brenda Johnson of Adairsville, GA; grandson, Zane & Jean-Marie Tibbitts of Rockmart, GA; several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 16, 2013, at 2:00 PM, from Narroway Baptist Church, with Reverend Todd Tibbitts, Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts and Reverend Herschel Tibbitts officiating. Interment will follow in Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery. Lee Johnson, Lane Johnson, Benny Long, Darrell Long, Jimmy Long, Jake Gibson, Landon Tibbitts, Josh Smith and Luke Gilbert will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
