Bobby Wayman Thrasher

Bobby Wayman Thrasher passed away on September 26, 2021 at the age of 78. Bobby was born on February 10, 1943 to the late William and Mary Thrasher in Atlanta, GA. He worked for the Paulding County School District as a bus driver for more than 5 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bobby is preceded in death by his mother and father, William and Mary Thrasher; and his brother, Barry Thrasher. He is survived by his son, Darin (Maile) Thrasher of Rockmart; daughter, Lisa (David) Rose of Rockmart; brothers, Steve (Marti) Thrasher of Powder Springs; sister, Barbara "Babs" (Alan) Carter of Canton; grandchildren, Amy McWhorter, Kelly Henry, Zach Thrasher, and Shelby Thrasher; and great-grandchildren, Zoe Freeman, Jada McWhorter, Willow Jiles, and Noah Henry.
Per the family's wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no service at this time.
The family would like to give special thanks to the care team at Lotus Blossom Hospice and Divine Meadows PCH for their excellent care of Bobby.
