Boyce Monroe Hembree, age 83, of Acworth, GA (Paulding County) passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. He was born on April 4, 1935, in Acworth, GA, to the late Charlie Andrew & Elsie Mae Hembree, and was preceded in death by his son, James Hembree. Mr. Hembree retired as a pulpwood logger and was of Baptist Faith.
Survivors include children, Lynn Hembree of Cartersville, GA, Harold Hembree of Dallas, GA, Boyce & Michele Hembree of Acworth, GA, and Amanda & Jeff Clark of Austell, GA; brothers, Charles & Margie Hembree of Cartersville, GA, and Dewey Hembree of Centre, AL; sisters, Mary Helen & Charles Crews of Grovetown, GA, Betty Mae & Karen Garrison of Acworth, GA, and Ruby Lee Owens of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Brandy Hembree, Jason Hembree, Tonya Hembree, Timothy Frazier, Chris Hembree, Tabitha Hembree, Tyler Hembree, Anniston Blue Hembree, Alexus Hembree, Kelli James, Bo Hembree, Austin Hembree, Ryan Clark and Naomi Clark; thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 2 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 22, 2018, from 12 PM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Clark Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
