The life and legacy of Deputy Brandon Cunningham will be celebrated with great joy and admiration, as we fondly remember his impactful presence in our lives.

Brandon was born on August 30, 1993, in Marietta, GA, the son of Maria Elena Cunningham and the late Kevin Maynard Cunningham, Sr. Brandon embraced his role as a Deputy Sheriff with utmost dedication and passion at the Paulding County Sheriff's Office. His commitment to serving and protecting his community epitomized his selfless nature. Graduating from Marietta High School in 2012, he excelled in his service to his fellow residents after joining the Sheriff's Department in 2020.

Brandon's love for his family, especially his children, Christopher and Sophia, shone brightly in his life. His lively spirit, accompanied by a contagious sense of humor, seamlessly blended with his love for anime, cars, shoes, and hats.

Brandon leaves behind his two children, Christopher Xander Cunningham and Sophia Estephany Cunningham; his mother, Maria Elena Cunningham; brothers and sister-in-law, Kevin (Maria Martinez) Cunningham, Jr., Cristian Cunningham and Gerardo Chimal-Librado; paternal grandfather, Gerard Cunningham; and aunt, Sharise Cunningham.

Friends, family, and colleagues are invited to join in celebration of a life well-lived at the visitation to be held Friday, August 23, 2024 from 10:00 am until 1:30 pm at West Ridge Church, 3522 Hiram Acworth Hwy, Dallas, GA 30157. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mike Linch alongside Preacher Ernesto Macclesh and Sheriff Gary Gulledge officiating. Kevin, Cristian and Gerardo will deliver eulogies.

Private Burial ceremony will follow with the family and Paulding County Sheriff's Office personnel with Honor Guard providing honors.
