Brenda Shepherd

Brenda Dale Shepherd, age 74, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025. Born on June 3, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Dewey and Mildred Morgan, Brenda led a life filled with love, laughter, and treasured moments with her family and friends.

Brenda was well-known for her culinary talents and her passion for bringing people together through food. Whether preparing a holiday feast or hosting a casual family gathering, her kitchen was always a place of warmth and inviting aromas. Her love for creating unforgettable meals was matched only by her unwavering support for her beloved UGA Bulldogs, whom she cheered on with great enthusiasm.

She is survived by her son, Billie (Michelle) Garner; her daughter, Pam (Bill) Quantock; her sister, Judy Robertson; and her grandchild, Justin Keiser. Brenda also leaves behind a wide circle of family and friends, both biological and chosen, who will forever remember her for her kindness, infectious laughter, and steadfast spirit.

A celebration of Brenda’s remarkable life will be held in the coming days. Family and friends are invited to visit with the family at Bethany Christian Church on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM, also at Bethany Christian Church, with Pastor Tommy Campbell officiating.

As we remember her beautiful life, we invite all who knew Brenda to join in celebrating her vibrant spirit. Although she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
