In Loving Memory of Brianna Nichole Long
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Brianna Nichole Long, who departed this world on October 29, 2023, at the age of 21. Brianna will forever be remembered and cherished as a bright light in the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Born on February 13, 2002, Brianna was a radiant and spirited individual who touched the hearts of many. She was a 2020 graduate of Paulding County High School, where she excelled both academically and socially. Brianna wholeheartedly committed herself to her studies while simultaneously embracing her extracurricular activities. Notably, she shone brightly as a member of the Varsity Cheerleading squad and the PCHS Soccer team, showcasing her unwavering dedication and incredible athleticism.
Brianna's impact stretched far beyond the field. She was crowned Miss PCHS for superlatives, a testament to her outward beauty, charismatic persona, and the deep connections she formed with her peers. Her unwavering involvement in school life extended to her membership in the esteemed Beta Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where she actively demonstrated her unwavering faith and commitment to community service. Brianna was a Christian and loved the Lord.
With dreams as ambitious as her warm smile, Brianna aspired to graduate in May 2024 from Valdosta State with a Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene, a testament to her unyielding dedication to the betterment of others. Her determination to positively impact the lives of those around her was evident in every aspect of her life.
Brianna had an unparalleled ability to light up a room and make everyone around her feel loved. With her infectious laughter and genuine personality, she never met a stranger. Her genuine compassion and empathy endeared her to countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on their lives.
Brianna is survived by her father, Justin (Toni) Long, and her mother, Brandi (Cory) Spinks. She is also survived by her brothers, Rylan Long and Blake Garner, her grandparents, Monty Long, Donna Austin, Donald (Donna) Spinks, Charlotte Faulk, her aunts, Marci Long, Morgan Long, Brittany (Richard) Nash, her uncles, Brett (Kristin) Faulk, Bradley Brown, Kevin Long, Henry Spinks, and by her great-aunts and uncles, Susan Lewis, Debbie Moore, Lynn (Tracey) Blackburn, Karen (Don) Edwards, as well as many other family and friends who adored Brianna. They will forever hold her memory close to their hearts, cherishing the beautiful moments they shared together.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 4, 2023, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Clark Funeral Home & Chapel. A celebration of Brianna's extraordinary life and the joy she brought to the world will be held at Dave Hardin Stadium at Paulding County High School on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at 1:00 PM.
