Buddy Ramsey

Buddy Ramsey, age 83, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on November 28, 1936 in Atlanta, GA, to his late parents; Riley and Minnie Ramsey. Buddy was retired from the City of Atlanta Engineering Department, where he worked for 20 years. Mr. Ramsey was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife, Jean Ramsey of Kennesaw, GA, son, Greg Ramsey of Kennesaw, GA, daughter, Melanie (Tommy) Greeson of Dallas, GA, sister-in-law, Dot Ramsey of Kennesaw, GA, grandchildren; John Greeson, Matthew (Blake) Greeson, Michael Greeson, David (Ayesa) Ramsey, great grandchildren; Alyssa Ramsey, Alex “Sam” Ramsey and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Buddy Ramsey will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 2:00 PM at The Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow the service at Crest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
