Carl G. Johnson

Carl G. Johnson, age 88, of Dallas, GA., passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018. He was born in Chicago, IL., on December 15, 1929 to the late Carl and Thelma Johnson. Mr. Johnson was retired from Southern Bell where he worked as a circuit layout assigner for 34 years. He served in the Korean War and was of Lutheran faith. He married the love of his life, Mrs. Dixie Lee Johnson in Chicago, IL., on September 10, 1955. Everyone that knew him would tell you he was full of life and never met a stranger. Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dixie Johnson, his parents, daughter, Kristie Kendall, and grandson, Garrison Fugate.

Survivors include, his son, Keith Johnson of Dallas, GA., daughters; Karyn Fugate of Hiram, GA., Kellie (Russell) Oxford of Dallas, GA., his 6 grandchildren; Brandon Kendall, Matthew Kendall, Bradley Johnson, Misti Kendall, Rachael (Ethan) Usry, Kaston Fugate, and his 5 great- grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at 3:00 PM from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Lance officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 18, 2018, from 12:00 PM until the service begins at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that donations be made to Toys for Tots or that blood donations be made in his name.
