Carl O'Neal

Carl Edward O’Neal, age 84, of Woodstock, GA, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014. He was born on August 30, 1930, in Dallas, GA, to the late Joseph & Ida O’Neal, and was preceded in death by his wife, Hassie Ann O’Neal and step-daughter, Wanda Rinehart. Mr. O’Neal worked at Hardy Chevrolet for many years, was a member of Harper Lake Baptist Church, and enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jeff & Jerrie O’Neal of Rockmart, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Melody & Glenn Sinard of Temple, GA; step-sons; David Sorrells of Cedartown, GA, and Dwayne & Joanne Sorrells of Cedartown, GA; daughter-in-law, Melissa & husband Tim Kuykendall of Woodstock, GA; sisters, Myrtle Rousey of Tignall, GA, Mae Echols of Tignall, GA, and Rachel & Glenn Dobson of Marietta, GA; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 3 p.m., from Clark Funeral Home, with Tony Crowe officiating. Interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 2, 2014, from 12 p.m. until service time.
