Carol Morton Blair

Carol Morton Blair, age 67, passed away at her home in Hiram, GA on Saturday, June 1, 2019.  She was born on October 9, 1951 to the late William Iris and Frances C Morton, Sr. Mrs. Blair was a loving mother and a wonderful school teacher for 32 years. She taught at New Georgia Elementary and was actively involved with West Metro Church. She had a Master in Early Childhood Education, and children were her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Calvin Blair.

She is survived by her son, Scott Blair of Biloxi, MS;  brother William “Billy” Carlton (Patricia) Morton of Dutton, AL, and three sisters Janice Morton of Cartersville, GA; Jane (Bill) Peppers of Scottsboro, AL; and Betty M. Morgan also of Scottsboro, AL as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Blair will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 from West Metro Church of Christ at 1:00 PM
