Carol Elizabeth Dutton, age 83, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on June 15, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 2, 1936, in Dallas, GA, to her late parents Charlie and Burtia Wood. Carol was retired from National Envelope, where she worked as a machine operator for over 25 years and was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Mrs. Dutton was a loving wife to her husband who preceded her in death, Trenton Dutton, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Dutton is survived by her loving children Ricky Dutton of Dallas, GA, Robert (Bobby) Dutton of Dallas, GA; Treva (Ronald) Gulledge of Dallas, GA, Shelbie (Dutton) Kelly of Dallas, GA; brother, Randy Wood of Haralson County, GA; sisters, Betty (Wood) Pace of Dallas, GA; Mary Florence (Wood) Hayes of Haralson County, GA; 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A Funeral Service for Mrs. Dutton will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Berry, Rev. Jeremy Clark, and Brian McGarity officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers; Tim Dutton, Chad Dutton, Corey Gulledge, Joshua Owens, Steven Kiker, and Paul Enzor. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service or visitation in person due to the State's Covid-19 restrictions. (No more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time). If attending the visitation or funeral service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home recommends that a face mask be worn to help prevent the spreading any possible illnesses and to help keep our visitors, friends and the family members of Mrs. Dutton safe.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to The American Cancer Society in loving memory of Mrs. Dutton.
