Carol Sue Jelks

Carol Sue Jelks passed away on February 12, 2023. She was born on September 15, 1939 to the late Louis and Martha Jelks. Carol enjoyed going shopping and loved finding things at thrift stores. Her favorite thing was cheering on her favorite college football team, Alabama. Carol will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Mark Jelks and her sister, Betty Peppers. Carol is survived by her brother, Jerry (Gail) Jelks; her sisters, Pat Cox and Shirley Helms; and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside will take place at a later date.
