Caroline Elizabeth Cohran

Caroline Elizabeth Cohran passed away on August 8, 2022. She was born on April 22, 1936 to the late Franklin and Margaret Rogers. Caroline was a faithful member of Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church where she was very involved and loved serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Caroline was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who adored her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies and making memories with them. Caroline loved flowers, being outside in her garden, and feeding the birds. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be very missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Lane Rogers and Kenneth Rogers. Caroline is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Kenneth Cohran; her daughter, Denise (Roben) Carter; brother, Meryl Keith Rogers; grandchildren, Amanda (Josh) Reed, Brittaney (Brad) Boatfield, Caleb (Amanda) Carter; great-grandchildren, Carter Cole, Elijah Cole, Levi Cole, Taylor Beth Boatfield, Gunner Boatfield, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral Services for Mrs. Cohran will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 1:00pm with Pastor Jason Hudgens and Brother Earl Partain officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Smyrna Methodist Church Cemetery, 9199 Buchanan Hwy Dallas, Georgia 30157, with Josh Reed, Brad Boatfield, Carter Cole, Elijah Cole, Levi Cole, and Caleb Carter serving as pallbearers.
