Carson Rhodes Lucero, age 26, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021 in St. Augustine, FL. Carson was born on April 15, 1995 in Ft Hood, TX. He was known by all who loved him as being bigger than life and as the jokester in the group; he was a walking party. Many of his friends remember him playing football for East Paulding High School where he was a natural leader on and off the field. He was a sales manager for Discount Tire for more than 6 years where he broke many sales records and truly enjoyed his work family. Carson is preceded in death by his grandfather, Vernon Lucero.
Carson is survived by his wife, Meagan Lucero; parents, Christopher Lucero and Autumn Diaz; stepfather, Alfonso Diaz III; stepmothers, Diana Lucero and Lucy Lucero; sisters, Samantha Rose Lucero, Annalise Athens Lucero, and Delilah O’Connor; brothers, Brandon Michael Lucero and Knolan O’Connor; brother in-laws, Gracin Thrailkill and Christian Thrailkill; aunts and uncles, Natalee Leslie , Hunter Leslie, Jeremy and Crystal Lucero, Jon and Billie-Jo Lucero; grandparents, Bonnie and Dexter Leslie, Debbie Lucero, Alfonso Diaz-Rivera and Maria E. Diaz; great-grandmother, Nancy Perks; along with a host of cousins and great aunts and uncles.
Memorial service for Carson Lucero will be held at Hope Church in Dallas, GA on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mark Jordan officiating. The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
