Charles T. Abbott, age 74, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017. He was born on October 10, 1943 in Cordele, GA., to the late Troy and Lela Abbott. Mr. Abbott worked in the sales industry at West Bend Inc. and was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy and Lela Abbott.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Marie Abbott of Temple, GA., sons; Terry (Terri) Abbott of Hiram, GA., Greg (Michelle) Abbott of Temple, GA., daughters; Lisa (Ayron) Dent of Temple, GA., Angie (Brian) McConnell of Woodstock, GA., Tracey (Lee) Johnson of Temple, GA., Carol Peters of Dallas, GA., brothers; Truett (Anita) Abbott of Augusta, GA., Roy (Rose) Abbott of Cochran, GA., Carroll (Debora) Abbott of Cochran, GA., Clark Abbott of Carrollton, GA., sister, Delores (Donny) Churchhill of Cochran, GA., his 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews are also survived by him.
Funeral services for Mr. Charles Abbott will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 4:00 PM from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Sam Braswell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 3:00 PM until the service begins at 4:00 PM.
