Charles Anthony Hall, affectionately known as Charlie Murphy was born on April 7, 1991, in Toms River, New Jersey. He was the first-born child to Charles Rodney Hall and Kimberly Shawn Hall. To this union, two others were born, Marcus Jared and Mya Ranay Hall.
After Charlie graduated from East Paulding High School, he joined the United States Army where he served three tours. He served in an entry tour, served in Kuwait, and a final tour in Iraq. While serving he earned numerous awards such as the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Award, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, and a Driver and Mechanic Badge.
Charlie loved spending time with family, friends, and traveling. He always went out of his way to make others laugh or smile. His true “passions” were Motorcycles and Mustangs. Charlie was also very active with helping veterans with PTSD.
On Sunday, August 7, 2022, Charlie transitioned to his eternal home. He is joining his grandfathers, Clarence Eason Jr. and Robert Hall Sr., and his grandmother, Josephine Hall. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Kimberly Hall; brother, Marcus Hall; sister, Mya Hall; grandmother, Frances R. Holmes; uncles, Marc Eason, Robert Hall Jr, Russell Pate, Stacey Hall, Arthur Miller; aunts, Donna Pate, Judith Miller, Belle Campbell; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Funeral Services for Mr. Hall will be held at Clark Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, August 14 beginning at 1:00pm with Reverend Rhonda James-Jones officiating.
The Hall family would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions. Your phone calls, visits, flowers, food, thoughts, and prayers have all helped greatly during our time of bereavement.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Charlie’s honor towards Veterans with PTSD at Healing Hero's.
Clark Funeral Home is honored to care for the Hall family during this difficult time.
