Charles Marion Jones

Charles Marion Jones, age 82, of Dallas, GA, passed away peacefully at Paulding Nursing Home on Monday, August 10, 2020. He was born on December 10, 1937 in Smyrna, GA, to his late parents, James Jones Sr. and Annie Mae Jones. Charles worked as an assembler for Rayloc for over 10 years and was a member of Welcome Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Jones served in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Buddy Jones and his sister, Betty Cook.

Mr. Jones is survived by his loving wife, Margie Jones of Dallas, GA, sons; Bill Jones and his wife, Pam of Powder Springs, GA, Glenn Jones and his wife, Katherine of Cedartown, GA, Matt Jones and his wife, Tess of Dallas, GA, Mark Jones and his wife, Candy of Dallas, GA, daughter, Susan Taranto of Kennesaw, GA, sister, Laura Ann Motter of Woodstock, GA, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Jones will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Brother Johnny Ivey and Mr. Larry McMillian officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Harmony Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen; Bill Jones, Glenn Jones, Matt Jones, Mark Jones, Alex Jones and Hunter Jones. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 2:00 PM. The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who will not be able to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions. (No more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time) If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Jones safe.
