Charles Parson

Charles W. Parson, age 74 of Hiram, GA. passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021. He was born on April 23, 1946 to his late parents; Edward Eugene and Anges Allene Parson. Mr. Parson was an Army veteran and faithful Christian. He was a forklift driver for Caraustar for more than 25 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Edward Parson.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 55 years; Ann (Dean) Parson, children; Denise Woodall of Hiram, GA., Chris (Kim) Parson of Dallas, GA., Cassandra (Jeremy) Childers of Rockmart, GA., grandchildren; Samantha (Kevin) Ballance, Sabrina Woodall, Maranda Bennett, C.J. Parson, Emily Parson, Wesley Parson, Ashley Parson, Cade Childers, Laney Childers, great-granddaughter; Iris Whitfield, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Parson will be held Friday, February 5, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home at 10:00 AM with Rev. Jeremy Childers officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery in Dallas, GA.  The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 PM.

If attending the visitation or service, the staff of Clark Funeral Home highly recommends that a face mask be worn, and that social distancing is practiced to help prevent the spreading of any possible illnesses and to help keep visitors, friends and family members of Mr. Parson safe.  The family would like to extend their love and appreciation to everyone who may be unable to attend the service in person due to the states Covid-19 restrictions (no more than 50 people inside the funeral home at one time).
